They came out to do a consult and to look at my attic space. Due to the narrow height and that AC duct was taking a lot of space Eagle Shield isn't able to install without me having the HVAC guys remove the ducts. However, I learned so much about the product and when I move to a new home in a few years I plan to use this service and product.

I asked the sales rep about the difference of blown in insulation and the one that lays in. He said the only difference is the blown in get more of the harder to cover areas. After the blown on insulation was installed, I asked about stepping on it if I needed to go in the attic for a reason. They said if i stepped on it, it won't come back up, so it needs to be moved and then moved back. He said the layin insultation you can step on. If I would have known that. I would have chosen the lay up insulation, but, now it's to late. In that aspect i am discouraged.
